The club currently plays in both Boston and Worcester

BOSTON:

We play in two different locations:

Clemente Field, Fens area, Boston, MA

Clemente Field is in Boston's Fens area, located on Park Drive at Kilmarnock Street.  The oval running track is made of stonedust and is a perfect surface for pétanque.  Lights over the adjoining baseball fields in the summer provide opportunity for extended night play. Parking is a little challenging - sometimes available around the Museum of Fine Arts, or a couple of blocks over on Boylston St.  Public Transportation options: (1) Museum of Fine Arts stop on the Green line-HEATH on Huntington Ave., then walk down Forsyth street, and cut through the Fens to the playing area. About 10 minute walk. (2) Or Fenway stop on Green Line-RIVERSIDE, then 10 min. walk down Park Drive.

...and in Boston we also play:

Leif Erikson Statue, Commonwealth Ave., Boston, MA

Leif Eriksson Statue is on the Commonwealth Avenue mall, located on Commonwealth Ave, at the intersection of Charlesgate St.  Large stonedust playing area is just behind the statue, with space enough for a few simultaneous matches.  Park 1 block over at parking meters on Newbury Street, or take MBTA to Kenmore and walk 5 minutes.

WORCESTER

Where: Green Hill Park, Worcester, MA

When: Saturday or Sunday mornings, 10am - 1pm
(pending weather and available players.  Send email to be sure: lemistralclub@comcast.net)

In Green Hill Park, Le Mistral Club plays on a purpose-built terrain measuring 50m by 15m, capable of supporting 12 pistes of international dimensions (4m x 15m).  The park is easily accessible from Central Massachusetts, Greater Boston, southern New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.  Directions: From Lincoln St, turn onto Greenhill Park Rd. onto the park road, then to the parking lot in front of the small children's playground on the top of the hill. From Rt. 9, take Skyline Drive into the park and the pétanque terrain is next to the children's playground on the right after the baseball field.
