On a warm June evening, FACCNE Executive Director Valerie Ferret and Le Mistral Club president Brian Walsh welcomed 18 players from the memberships of both FACCNE and Le Mistral Club for a social evening of pétanque. There were experienced players, some who were reacquainting with the game after many years, and some who were débutants. Balanced Triplet teams were formed Mélée-style, with the resulting matches reflecting the close parity across the teams.

Brigitte also demonstrating that she hasn't lost her skills learned in her native France. Teammates Brian and John look on hopefully.
