Le Mistral Club de Petanque hosted the NorthEast Regional Doubles Championship at Green Hill Park on a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the low 80s.  Many eligible Northeast players from the previous day's National Singles stayed on for this event.  12 doubles teams showed from NE clubs La Boule NewYorkaise, Le Mistral Club of Massachusetts and Maine Boules Club.  

All clubs sent at least one team through to the Concours, but eventually the semi-finals consisted of 3 from LBNY with 1 surviving team from Le Mistral Club, who held on and took 2nd place.

2nd Place: Pete Crowley and Phil Riand from Le Mistral Club
