With the sun bearing down in the 85F degree heat, 7 teams battled to determine this year's Spring Open Tournament champions. The humidity was a little high and the wind was low, so shade and hydration became necessities for endurance. The teams were randomly mixed, and the fair balance that resulted was reflected in the many long, close and competitive matches played. In the end, the medals and prizes were taken away by teams made up of an assortment of club veterans, new members and first-time tournament players.
